The Trust are fortunate to have a dedicated, experienced and varied Board of Trustees.
We have a broad range of professional and personal attributes, our Trustees contribute significantly to the Trust’s Mission, as well as ensuring the Trust’s business and financial governance remains transparent and conforms to the relevant charitable legislation and the requirements of the Scottish Charity Regulator.
I am a recently retired property development and asset management professional with more than 30 years of industry experience. Over the course of my career I held a number of voluntary board positions across a range of organisations, this allowed me to augment my skill set whilst contributing in a positive manner to the delivery of organisational aims and objectives
I joined the Board of the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust in 2023 and became Chair in 2025. As Chair, I seek to lead the Board whose role is to oversee the Trust’s mission to strengthen community engagement, expand its charitable impact and to ensure we meet our core aim of supporting healthier lifestyles, improved physical and mental wellbeing through the provision of accessible programmes.
My work background is financial services with a focus on risk, governance and ensuring the right outcome for customers.
I have been involved in a diverse range of charity and voluntary groups from being a trustee with an adult day care centre to running the local children’s annual holiday club.
Born a Thistle supporter, but when not watching football, I’m usually found indulging my other passion of dance.
I have served on several charity boards over many years and am delighted to be part of PTCT Board – combining my passion for football (of the red and yellow persuasion!) and community development.
